On 7th July, Dr. David J Keay, from Dynamic Extractions Ltd., UK, visited the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, at the invitation of Prof. Di Luolong of the Key Laboratory of Natural Medicine of Gansu Province. Dr. David delivered an academic lecture entitled “Principle of high-efficient countercurrent chromatography technique and its application in separation”. He introduced in detail the development and principle of HPCCC, scheme design and optimization of separation techniques and their application in the isolation of natural products. About 30 young researchers and postgraduates of the Key Laboratory participated in the lecture and discussed with Dr. David.
