Professor Song Yanlin from Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and Guo Zhancheng from University of Science and Technology Beijing gave academic reports at Qinghai Institute of Salt Lakes(ISL) at the invitation of ISL on Jan. 6, 2014. The academic reports were hosted by deputy director Duan Dongping.
Report 1: The preparation and application of nanopaticles
Reporter: professor Song Yanlin
Song Yanlin, doctoral tutor, director of Key Laboratory of Green Printing, Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, engaged in high density data storage organic film and photoelectric functional materials. Data array of about 1.3 nm and 0.6 nm diameter had been formed on organic composite NBMN/DAB and PNBN film, respectively. He honored with Chinese top ten scientific and technological progresses in 1997 and Chinese top ten basic scientific research progresses in 2001. Professor Song Yanlin gave a report about the preparation of photonic crystals and its application on LED, poly dye-sensitized solar cell and color humidity sensor, and introduced the application of nanopaticles on green printing materials and technologies in detail.
Report 2: The technology of extracting KCl from dust of ferrous metallurgy
Reporter: Professor Guo Zhancheng
Guo Zhancheng, vice president of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering College, University of Science and Technology Beijing, director of State Key Laboratory of New Technology in Iron and Steel Metallurgy, engaged in energy-saving, efficient recycling and new technology in metallurgy. In the report, the technology of extracting KCl from dust of ferrous metallurgy was introduced. This technology not only solved dust pollution caused by steel enterprise but also benefited to ease KCl demand of our country.
