Professor ZENG Haibo from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology visited the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on April 29. During his stay, he delivered a lecture entitled Defect effect in photoelectrical properties of nanocrystal. In his lecture, Prof. ZENG introduced his group’s work on the defect effect in photoelectrical properties of nanocrystal from three factors, namely the design of ultra-thin semi-conductors, development of non-toxic luminescent nanocrystal containing no rare earth based on defect state, improvement of the properties of flexible and elastic transparent electrodes using impurities. Prof. ZENG received his doctoral degree from the Institute of Solid Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. He has worked in the University of Karlsruhe, German, and National Institute for Materials Science, Japan. Prof. ZENG has been long engaged in the study on the photoelectrical materials and devices. Up till now, he has published more than 120 papers in related areas. Prof.ZENG is giving a lecture. |
