The scientific evaluation meeting organized by Gansu Provincial Sci. & Tech. Department and Lanzhou Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) was held at IMP(Institute of Modern Physics), CAS in Lanzhou on 28th November 2009. The project of Super-FRS superconducting prototype dipole for FAIR project was approved.

　　The members of the evaluation committee reviewed the presentation given by the project coordinator and the testing results, examined the sci-tech novelty assessment report, the user's reports, commissioning documents, technical drawings and visit the testing site of the magnet. The committee agreed that the testing method is correct and the measurement results are reliable; The measured magnetic field quality(including maximum field, integral field homogeneity and the ramping rate) reaches the world advanced level.
