The 7th committee meeting of the 3rd committee of the Surface Engineering Institute, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), was convened on April 25, 2010 in Beijing. The election of the members of the 4th committee was also held.
During the meeting, the work report of the 3rd committee was presented, the name list of the 4th committee members was announced and future work of the Institute was discussed.
Prof. XUE Qunji, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of the academic committee and chairman of the academic degrees committee of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP), CAS, was elected the honorary committee member of the 4th committee of the Institute. Prof. CHEN Jianmin, director of the R&D Center of the Lubricating and Protecting Materials, LICP, CAS, was elected the chairman of the 4th committee of the Institute.
