The delegation of Suzhou Science & Technology Bureau headed by TAO Guanhong, vice-director of the Bureau, visited the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP), CAS, on August 12, 2010.

Accompanied by Prof. WANG Qihua, vice-director of the LICP, the delegates visited the exhibition room and R&D Center of Protecting and Lubricating Materials. They were acquainted with the research areas, research platforms, team construction, research progress, achievements and industrialization, projects with promising application prospects of the LICP.

TAO Guanhong affirmed the research capability and achievements of the LICP. And he introduced the overall condition of the industry development of Suzhou, government’s policy for sci-tech development and enterprises’ need for science and technology. He hoped that LICP and Suzhou could further cooperate to promote the transformation of the LICP’s achievements in Suzhou.

Prof. WANG Qihua welcomed the delegation and hoped both sides could enhance cooperation in the future.
