SUN Liguo, mayor of Laixi, Shandong province, came to the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on December 21. During their stay, they visited the exhibition room, State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication and CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources and Prof. XUE Qunji of the LICP.

SUN Liguo and LICP researchers then had a discussion in which SUN Liguo and Prof. LIU Weimin, director of the LICP made a general introduction to Laixi and LICP respectively. Both sides hoped that, by taking advantages of the each party, two sides could explore opportunities of cooperation and enhance exchanges.
