WANG Haizhou, mayor of Baiyin city at Gansu province, inspected the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on April 12.

Accompanied by LIU Weimin, director of LICP, WANG Haizhou visited the exhibition room, State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation, State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, CAS Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources of LICP. After the visit, WANG Haizhou discussed the implementation of projects, scientific achievements and their industrialization, construction of research platforms and human resources of LICP with LICP researchers and management staff.

Baiyin city and LICP has had a long history of cooperation. Several pilot scale production bases have been jointly established by two sides in Bayin. Both sides hoped to further cooperation and exchanges in the future.
