Three main direction programs of Knowledge Innovation of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) undertaken by Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (LICP), CAS, passed the acceptance check organized by the Bureau of High-Technology Research and Development, CAS. The three programs are "Key Techniques for Synthesis of Important Chemicals by Using Biomass", "New Techniques for Clean Synthesis of Trioxane" and "Key Techniques for Synthesis of Polycarbonate through Non-phosgene Route".

After listening to summary reports concerning the implementation of the programs made by LICP researchers, the acceptance group, composed of experts from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO) of CAS, Zhejiang University of Technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Suzhou University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, all held that the achievements made through the implementation of each program all met the requirements and the programs could pass the acceptance check
