Having been invited by ISL, Professor Ma Zi feng from Shanghai Jiao Tong University-the chief scientist of Chinese National 973 Program, Dr. Liu Xiao min from Nanjing Industrial University, Dr. Li Yang xin from Lithium Department of United Stated FMC, the group of five visited ISL on July 29th.
The group of Ma Zi feng visited the Pre-production Plant, the Analysis and Test Department, accompanied by Zhou Yuan, Wang Min extra. During the visiting, Zhou Yuan introduces the developing history, relevant scientific layout of ISL.
The lecture “Large-capacity lithium-ion battery and its industrialization” was given by Professor Ma. The report meeting is hosted by Wu Zhi jian, the deputy director of the Qinghai Salt Lake, who expresses a warm welcome to the group of Professor Ma. In the report, Ma made a comprehensive and highly condensed summary on the application of lithium iron phosphate batteries, pointed out the key technology development strengths, existing problem and trend in this field. The latest research result, team building and its development of industrialization is highlighted by Ma Zi feng.
Background material
Ma Zi feng, male, born in August 1963 in Zhejiang province. Got bachelor's and master's degree in the department of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University from 1981 to 1988, got the Engineering PhD in the department of Industrial Catalysis, South China University in 1995. Appointed as the visit scientist in Brookhaven National Laboratory, U.S. Department of Energy from 2000 to 2001. Now engage as professor in Shanghai Jiaotong University, Doctoral tutor, Energy Research Department assistant dean. From 2001, being the editor of Journal of New Materials for Electrochemical Systems, Chemical Engineering.
Mainly interested in research of fuel cell catalysts and electro-catalytic reaction process, Lithium-ion battery electrode materials, Energy Materials Process Engineering Theory. Hosted and completed a sub-project of 863 key projects, three Chinese National Natural Science Foundation project. Presided the translation of foreign elite classical books: Momentum, heat and mass transfer theory, involved in the work of books writing: Fuel cell system, Fuel cell, published over 120 scientific papers. Currently bear the project of National 973 project, National Natural Science Foundation for International Cooperation, International cooperation projects in Shanghai.
