The result of the assessment of 2014 Qaidam Salt Lakes Chemical Engineering Sciences Joint Foundation issued in November 17. ISL won 9 projects in total in all of the 44 projects, including 3 key projects and 6 breeding projects. The total funds are 11.2 million yuan which take 28 percent of the total funds. Both of the data are higher than any other domestic units, which show the importance of ISL in salt lakes sciences.

This fund is established by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Government of Qinghai Province. With a total of 44 projects and the total 44 million capital, the fund aims to meet the national strategic development needs, take the advantage of centralized scientific and technological resources to attract, train and gather a group of high-level scientific and technological personnel, solve the major constraints and key scientific issues.

Including this fund, this year ISL has won a total of 27 various types of natural fund, three times of the last year, got a total funding of 18.86 million yuan, 5.5 times of the last year. Thanks to the optimized adjustment of the scientific landscape and the efforts of the entire research staff, ISL develops rapidly and gets the recognition and support of the country.
