June 19, the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of the Comprehensive and Efficient Utilization of ISL of 2016 was held. Delong Xu, vice President of the Chinese academy of engineering academician, the academic committee members and the director of“One-Three-Five” Strategic Planning attended the meeting.

Yongzhong Jia, who is the manager of Laboratory Director and the "13th Five-Year" project for ISL , reported the laboratory work and project implementation on the meeting. The academic committee fully affirmed the preliminary work, and highly commended the remarkable results of lab. According to the initial positioning, the lab members developed the plans and goals, gradually perfected the mechanism, and the personnel structure more reasonable. In the past two years, a total of more than 60 projects were signed, more than 110 scientific papers were published and over 30 authorized patents were obtained. Moreover，many projects has been put into production, and achieved effects.

The members of the Academic Committee also proposed some suggestions about the lab development, like strengthening basic theory research, combining the basic theory and the application theory, focusing on innovation and research and development about Instruments and equipment, achieving the goal of industrialization and engineering, etc.

Dongping Duan, the director of the committee, thanked the committee members’guidance and promised the Laboratory will be in accordance with the recommendations and try to be an open, cooperative, aggressive, first-class laboratory.
